Antique French “Joyeux Noël” Postcard – Edwardian Couple – A.N. Paris
A romantic antique French Christmas postcard featuring an elegantly dressed Edwardian couple posed with a cascading floral bouquet. The black-and-white photographic image is embellished with the graceful French greeting “Joyeux Noël,” meaning “Merry Christmas.”
An original red 10-centime French Semeuse postage stamp is attached to the picture side and bears a bold postal cancellation. The card was published by the celebrated Paris postcard studio A.N. Paris—Armand Noyer—and is numbered 1460.
Handwritten inscriptions appear on both sides. The reverse begins “Petite Sœur” and contains a personal French Christmas message mentioning family, a young married couple, and their two children. Together, the photograph, correspondence, and postal markings preserve a charming glimpse of French family life during the early 20th century.

CONDITION
Good antique condition with visible age-related wear. The card displays softened and worn corners, surface marks, light discoloration, edge wear, and creasing—most noticeably at the lower-right corner and along portions of the reverse.
