Antique English Staffordshire Flow Blue — Set of Four

There is just something about authentic antique Flow Blue—the deep, inky cobalt, the softly blurred transfer, and the romantic scenes that make each piece feel like a little work of art.
This beautiful matching set of four 9” English Staffordshire plates features the Watteau pattern, with an elaborate scenic border surrounding a wonderfully detailed central landscape.
The reverse bears the Staffordshire England backstamp and Registered Design No. 555592, a pattern dating to approximately 1910–1911. More than a century later, these pieces still have such a striking presence.
Each plate has developed its own character over the years, including the beautiful crazing and subtle variations in the flowing cobalt that collectors appreciate in genuine antique Flow Blue. Please review photographs closely, as they are part of the description.
