Beyond the Shop: Introducing Personal Sourcing & Trade Services
Finding something old is easy. Finding the right piece—with character, history, authenticity, and a story worth preserving—is something entirely different.
I’m excited to introduce a new way to work with Rescued and Reimagined Relics, LLC: Personal Sourcing & Trade Services.
Over the years, my business has grown beyond simply finding beautiful antique and vintage pieces for my shop. I’ve developed relationships with dealers, collectors, and trusted sourcing contacts throughout the United States, France, England, and other parts of Europe.
Those relationships have given me access to pieces that aren’t always readily available through traditional retail channels—and I’m now bringing that sourcing experience directly to my clients.

What Is Personal Sourcing?
Personal sourcing is for the person who knows what they’re looking for but doesn’t necessarily know where to find it.
Perhaps you’ve been searching for an antique English stoneware vessel for your kitchen. Maybe you’re an interior designer looking for authentic European pieces for a client project. You may be decorating a historic home, searching for antique artwork, looking for original documents or ephemera, or wanting a collection of smaller pieces to complete a room.
You tell me what you’re looking for, and I do the searching.
We begin with your project, style, budget, preferred age or origin, dimensions, condition preferences, and any other details that are important to you.
From there, I can reach beyond my own inventory and work through my established sourcing network to locate pieces that fit your project.
What Can I Source?
My sourcing focuses primarily on antique and vintage home décor and decorative objects, particularly pieces with European character and history.
Depending on the project, this may include:
French and English antiques
European pottery and stoneware
Antique and vintage artwork
Historic documents and ephemera
Antique books and paper
French and English textiles
Haberdashery and textile-related pieces
Decorative and architectural objects
Vintage kitchen and farmhouse pieces
Collections of smaller decorative objects
Unusual pieces for designers, displays, photography, retail spaces, and special projects
And sometimes the request is simply:
“I know what I want when I see it.”
That’s okay, too. Part of sourcing is understanding the feeling, character, and aesthetic you’re trying to create.

Research Matters
One of the most important parts of my business is transparency.
Antique and vintage pieces come with histories that aren’t always perfectly documented. I never want to create a story simply because it makes an item sound more interesting.
When sourcing, I consider the information available about a piece—including its construction, materials, markings, age, origin, condition, and provenance when available.
When additional expertise is appropriate, I also have access to professional appraisal resources.
If something cannot be definitively verified, I believe in saying so.
For me, that is part of respecting both the history of the object and the person purchasing it.
For Interior Designers, Stagers & Trade Professionals
I’m also pleased to offer Trade Accounts for qualified design professionals and businesses.
My goal is to become a resource you can return to when your project calls for something beyond mass-produced décor.
Whether you need one statement piece or a collection of smaller objects to complete a space, sourcing allows us to work together to find pieces that feel collected rather than simply purchased.
Sourcing Across the U.S. and Europe
Some of my favorite pieces have come from unexpected places.
I source through relationships here in the United States as well as contacts in France, England, and elsewhere in Europe. That network continues to grow as Rescued and Reimagined Relics grows.
I intentionally keep the details of my individual sourcing relationships private. Those relationships have taken time to develop and are an important part of the service I provide.
What my clients receive is the benefit of that network without having to spend countless hours searching dealers, markets, auctions, and individual sellers themselves.

More Than Finding an Antique
For me, sourcing isn't simply about locating an object.
It’s about listening.
It’s understanding why you’re looking for it, where it will live, what you love about older pieces, and what will make something feel right when it finally arrives in your home or project.
Sometimes that search will be quick.
Sometimes finding the right piece takes patience.
I’m comfortable with that.
I would rather wait for the right piece than recommend the wrong one simply to complete a sale.
